02 maxima factory alarm security.

my maxima factory alarm stopped working since i had an accident from the back. the security light doesnt stay on when i lock the car with the remote. i checked the fuse and its still working. any help please

Hmmm...I'm not sure what to say there.

Did the accident affect the trunk closing in any way? It may be that the alarm isn't detecting the trunk as closed so it isn't arming (I'm not entirely sure if the 5th gen alarm system is "aware" of the trunk or not).
