After a flurry of things happening to my car recently, the latest happened a few days ago when I was at a red light and a pushed on the gas pedal but nothing happened. Didn't move, RPMs stayed idle. I pressed the gas down the gas a few more times and then my car took off. Same thing happened to me yesterday. Has anyone heard of this happening before?

-Im not sure if this is related but both times my heater and r. defroster were on when this happened. I shut them both off and didnt happen after? Any ideas?

It may be related. Are you getting a CEL?

No lights, however the Rpms do seem to be idling a little higher around 900 RPM

Standard idle is around 7-900 rpm so that sounds normal. I would check for vacuum leaks and I would also check everything between the pedal and the throttle body. I would also check the IAC and the IAC tube. Those tend to get clogged up with carbon buildup and can cause issues.

Started the car this morning and now idle is above 1000 rpm and not going down at all. Let it run for 20 mins , drove it around and idle is still high. Checked the hoses. no leaks. Cleaned out the throttle body, but still getting higher idle. Took it to a friend to scan and came back with codes P0300 Cylinder misfire and P0113 IAT ?

Check your MAF> make sure the connector is on there good and that it looks fairly clean. The idle air temp is in there.

P0113 indicates that the input from your IAT (Input Air Temperature) sensor is too high, or that it is stuck high. On my car (2000 SE), the IATS is mounted on the air duct housing (up front). I would check the sensor and connector and clean it. You should also check and clean your MAF sensor - as suggested above. In either case, it looks like your car has some problems in the area of air intake.
