Hi everyone. I just finished replacing plugs and rear valve cover on my 02 I35. It was all going so well... I idled the car for a bit after the repair, and it died after about fifteen minutes. Up to that point, no warning lights or any abnormalities. The engine cranks but doesn't fire. I tried to read the codes but got a linking error. Checked the fuses and found eng control 2, (15 amp fuse in the box near the battery), to be the culprit. A new fuse blows as soon as the key is on. I have been searching for a short, but no luck. I would love some input if anybody has some advice. My failing seems to be that I have become too dependent on the code reader.
