I've tried searching and all I found was how to access it. Here's the problem. I've got a friend with an 02 I35. The blower has been making noise for a while, but she never got around to fixing it. Well now it's completely dead. She picked up a new motor at Advance auto parts and I tried installing it. When I hooked it up nothing happened. I wasn't sure about which wire was positive, white w/ blue stripe or Blue w/ white stripe. I downloaded ha.pdf and studied that for a minute. I'm assuming that the white w/ blue is positive. I ended up hooking it up both ways and still nothing. The aftermarket motor came with 2 wires coming out of it that you have to connect yourself. I've also checked all fuses and they are good. Any other ideas?

well you need to check and see if there is any power and ground on the wires when you turn the switch to the on position. does it have automatic air, where you set the temp and the a/c fan runs as needed? the resistor may be bad also but normally in that case the fan will work on high setting.

I did check power and it had 12 volts. I only tried it on manual though it does have auto air. In manual mode the fan doesn't work on any speed setting.
