'02 G20 Wiper Problem

Arm from motor to wiper arm pivots came off the pivots arm ball. Is the problem with the cup on the motor arm or the ball on the pivots arm? I've never had this type problem before. Is this a common problem with a common fix? I can't really tell if either is showing any wear. I need to know which should be replaced.
