02 F50 lower control arms...

Had noisein front end. finally left it at the dealer.said lower arm bushings are torn and leaking.

i will try to have replaced with in a week.have a 20yr old guy who works for me pt. He goes to auto tech school. has about 6 months left. he and I looked at the FSM-front suspension section. He say he can repalce them for me. It doesn't look too tough. he has done other work for me in the past. but nothing like this.

I would like to save the labor charges of $130/hr at the dealer.any thoughts for you guys about how hard this job is?

Mark, I have something similar as well. On low speeds going over speed bumps there is a rattling sound like a loose spring. I'm looking to get replacement control arms and install performance bushings.

I went ahead and ordered stock from JOE, 273 a piece.They should be here on sat. hopefully installed by monday!
