02 Altima V6 Nismo Intake question

Have an 02 Altima V6, with a nismo cold air intake, installed about a year and 25K mileas ago, the kit came unopened from a Nissan Dealership and had no element/filter cleaning information.

Any one help a newbie out?

i use k&n filter cleaner kit. it will come with instructions

ya hes rights its a k & n filter, buy a cleaning kit. takes about20 minutes to actually clean it then you have to let it set for a long time to completely dry out. i let mine sit half a day and all night before repraying the oil on it.
