I'm sure there are rear sway bars. How agressive are you driving it to get it to slip?

well, my friends call me the green blur but....truthfully I don't think I'm all that aggressive in the curves, just normal on/off ramp kinda driving - altho' normal for me is probably a little bit faster than average I guess....slip seems to happen just at apex of curve right after Im accelerating out of the turn

Get some wider tires to get a wider patch. Lower profile would not hurt either. I've never driven a Altima so I don't know how they compare to my Maxima (which has a beam rear), but the Maxima seemed to float around a lot before I did the suspension. I have yet to get it to slide the back out altho I have gotten the front to....

well, just bought these tires so I'll be stuck with them for awhile.....bought this car new in 02 and this is the first time I'm noticing this problem and tires previous to these were really awful tires and didn't have this issue till they started going bald which is why I thought new better tires would fix it....thanks for your input tho!!

Ah, I assumed you had had this problem since new. I would assume it's a tire brand/compound issue then.
