01 touring edition headlight

are the touring edition head light have a solid clear lens or do they just have that rifle on the inside of the lens

need a quick reply cause im trying to order my headlights today. found a pair for $1200 with shipping and that is the complete assembly bulbs(which i have 12k blue d2r's already), ballast the whole shubang

The 99-01 headlight units have a halogen high beam and a HID low beam.

Let him keep the 12,000° K bulbs as they are useless for illumination and doubtlessly short-lived.

Not sure what you mean by "rifle" but on my 99 the lens is smooth on the outside and has ridges on the inside of the lens.

yeah ridges are the 01 touring edition the same way have the ridges on the inside? but just with the black Basel

i was gonna do the hid swap for the h1's i already got the hid h3's to fit in my fog lights

I think (and I am only guessing here) he wants to know if the high beams have a focusing lens and they do.

ok!!! cool i didn't know about the high beams having a focus lens. But what i was wanting to know is do they make those head lights with Clear lens all the way around.

I'm pretty sure all the 2001 Touring Edition Q's had the blackout coating (or "bezel") around the edges of the lens, like this...



...and all the ridges are molded into the INSIDE of the lens - The outside surface is completely smooth.
