01 Sentra SR20DE dies

Car dies when I start up right after filling up with gas and idle sporadically dives when I go to neutral (5spd), when that happens it occasionally stalls and will have trouble idling on re-start.

Other than that, hasn't ever run better, even before the turbo mess.. stupid shop.

Anyway, I think I killed the fuel pump during said turbo mess. Sound like a fuel pump issue? Mechs can't seem to get it to repeat by simply taking off the gas cap, so they just reset the light. Next time I filled up car wouldn't hold idle and light came on again about 10-15 miles down the road.
