01 QX4 - Where To Find Misc Buttons/Switches?

Hey

In my QX4, Im missing my radios seek buttons and one other button I forget which one. Is there any place online that sells them for a descent price? Havent contacted the stealership and dont really want to, cant imagine what theyd charge for these little plastic pieces.

Its a 2001 if that matter

Welcome to NICO!!Best bet may be to send the entire unit out to be refurbished. I tried to replace a button, and was instead offered the assembly, which is a new radio. Much cheaper to have it refurbed.

OR to find a replacement on ebay.

That's what I ended up doing. That was for a 97 240sx, so the deck was just a standard OEM Nissan clarion.

I had a seek button break off my 99.... you can use a toothpick to press the tiny little button where the button cover broke off, I just went ahead and replaced mine

Post a pic, if i happen to have your button ill send you the whole cd player unit for $20

No kidding. My disc changer conked out at around 75k miles. I just bought an ipod and a tape adapter instead of having it repaired.

I don't know where to get buttons for it. They tend to redesign these HUs every couple of years, making everything obsolete.

My CD player started giving me problems a year after I bought the truck. At first it would have trouble playing CD's in cold weather, then eventually progressed to the point where it doesn't work at all, regardless of temperature.It still loads the CD's, but skips and hangs up when it tries to play them.I did the same as you. I have a 30G Ipod, and I use that instead.I don't use a tape adapter though. I use the FM transmitter type of adapter. Works great.
