01 QX4 location of cylinder 1 and Eastern aftermark direct fit Cat converter

Hi all,

I have two questions.

1 Can someone tell me the location of cylinder #1? I need to know if cylinder #1 exhausts to the left or right side of the Catalytic converter.

2. Does anyone had good/bad experience with aftermarket Catalytic converters? I got a P0420 code and is thinking of putting in an aftermarket converter. Specifically, I am looking at the Eastern direct fit Catalytic converter. It only costs $200 compared to over $700 for dealer part.

no idea on the cyl location but i know that down here used cats go for about $150 at the junkyard, and they are legit. I have a junkyard cat (punched out the original one for performance, what a mistake)
