'01 QX4, Headlight not functioning, replaced ballast, still no luck

I am having a problem with the drivers side headlight. It will not turn on. I thought it was the bulb, replaced it a few months ago and it still doesnt work. I got a new ballast today and installed, but still no luck. Any ideas?

You need to see if you have power to the ballast. It is possible that the ballast failed and took out the fuse or relay with it.

I do not have access to the wiring diagram for an 01 HID circuit but there are two wires connected to the ballast on power one ground. If you have power there then your connection between the ballast and bulb is suspect. If you have no power then you have an issue between the fuse, switch, and relay.

You will need to verify power on terminal #3 of the LH HL terminal. It's a red wire with a yellow tracer.
