I have P1320 P1145 and P0171

P1145 was fixed by replacing the sensor with an aftermarket sensor Standard PC458T
P0171, I replaced the Mass airflow sensor with Nissian 22680-2Y001 just now and cleared the code, it did not come back yet but P1320 came back during my drive around the neighborhood just now.

I did change the coil 1 and 6 when P1320 has another code accompany with it identifying the coil number.

Coil number one was replaced with Beck/Arnley 178-8360 and a few months later #6 with Beck/Arnley 178-8362.

Now P1320 remains and I am wondering if Beck/Arnley 178-8362 that I put in was the right part since the failed coil has 22448-4W011 on it and this Beck/Arnley seems to be a replacement of 22448-4W010 and I am suspecting this may be the cause of P1320. I am now looking at a part from Rockauto the Hitachi IGC0027 which is suppose to be the OEM of 22484-4W011.

My emission (Smog) test is early March so anyone can give me direction is much appreciated. TIA

Courtesyparts.com shows the #1 coil to be 22448-R50002, and #2-6 to be 22448-R50004 (through 08/2000) or 22448-R50005 (08/2000 and later). Post your VIN and towncivilian can probably check a different source for part numbers.

The difference between #1 and #2-6 seems to be which way the connector points.

Hitachi parts should be as follows:

W0133-1607043 / Production: 01/01/2000-08/31/2000, Cylinder #1
W0133-1608351 / Production: 01/01/2000-08/31/2000, Cylinders #2-6
W0133-1725976 / Production: 09/01/2000-06/30/2001, Cylinder #1
W0133-1725977 / Production: 09/01/2000-06/30/2001, Cylinders #2-6

I replaced mine with Hitachi parts and I haven't had any trouble. I ordered from Partsgeek.com

asnorton44, thanks for the note, if I order locally, the Hitachi part number is exactly yours for 8/00 production, it will cost me CAD$230 shipped for #1 and #4 but when I look at Rock auto, they claim Hitachi IGC022 and IGC025 are actual OEM part for 8/00 but will only cost me CAD$155 shipped to Canada but they claim they are for US market only. Don't think there is any difference between US and Canada models. Have to make decision where to order soon since my emission test is around the corner and can't afford to have P1320 code.

I am sure last year when I looked at Rock auto the Hitachi were not these IGCxxx part number.

Make sure there is a black dot on the top(for#1)or side. This indicates they are newer revised version.Rockauto or other big part should be selling new Hitachi coils. But you may find the old oem ones on ebay.

Too bad already ordered from autopartsway otherwise would have order from Rock Auto to save about $60. Anyway it is comfortable to read that IGC0022 is 22448-4W000. Rock auto claim part (IGCxxxx) are for US market only but I don't think there is any difference for Canadian Market QX4. Thanks again xlj1000
