01' QX4 (Bose + broken 6cd) and Double-DIN

Hi, I recently purchased a 2001, Infiniti QX4. It has the bose system, with the broken 6-cd changer, and no navigation. I have an alpine w205 from my other car that I want to move into the QX4. Now, does the QX4 support double-din? If so, what dash-kit can I use, and can you give me a make and part number. If not, please provide link to where I can find one and purchase one. Thanks.

I think the newer dash requires a kit, since it doesn't appear that the opening is perfectly double-din size. The 97-00 will, however. Hopefully someone else can stop by and confirm this.

You'll pretty much have to rip out all of your BOSE stuff to do this, however. But if done right you'll have a great sounding system.
