I got a 2001 Q45T. I had two codes P1440(EVAP Small Leak) and P0325 (Knock Sensor Left bank). So I bought two new knock sensors and asked my mechanics to replaced them and also fixed some broken hoses under plenum. He also replaced the spark plugs. I didn't replace the knock sensor harness because I saw some posts mentioned 97' or later models has better soft harness(If I knew what will happen next, I would definitely get the new knock sensor harness)

After I got car back, everything seems ok. But one day later I got 3 new codes: P1105 and P1400 plus an unknown code. P1105 is Manifold Absolute Pressure Switch Solenoid Valve, and P1400 is EGRC Solenoid Valve. It's hard to believe both became bad right after this.

So what could be the problem ? Bad knock sensor harness or these two valves or something else?

Thanks for the help.

Replace the vacuum hose that leads to the EGR valve.

Don't know about manifold pressure but gotta believe that its an unplugged connector or something simple that's uninstalled.

Torquing Knock sensors too tightly will break them almost immediately.

Scary....
