01' Pathfinder Sudden Blip In RPM's When First Accelerating?

Recently, my car has been having a problem where when first few times hitting the accelerator from idle, the RPM's will drop, then accelerate. I noticed this both going forwards and reversing.

Example:
500 RPM (IDLE)
*Hit Accelerator*
100 RPM
1,200 RPM

Could my Throttle Position Sensor be going out? The Idle Air Control Valve is known to be bad, and the car throws P0505.

I'd start with the P0505 error before throwing more parts at it.
