01 Pathfinder LE P1131 P1320 codes

Hey guys,

I have a check engine light and the shop told me my pathy was showing P1130 and P1320.

I asked about getting the P1320 fixed and they said there was no misfire present when checked. I had a bad ignition coil a few months ago that I got replaced. As they said there's no misfire present I'm not sure if I need to do anything? I've an OBD2 scanner in the post. I'm going to try clearing the code and seeing if it's still showing. If it is I'm going to get a multimeter and test all the ignition coils. Is there anything else I should be doing?

For the P1131 I've been doing some reading and came across this thread. I'm going to try clearing the vacuum lines first and if that doesn't clear the code I'm going to change the swirl control valve solenoid valve.

Would anyone do anything above differently. Or check some other things first? I won't get my OBD scanner until next weekend but I'll update as I go.

I think you are on the right track. Fix the P1130, clear your codes, and see if the P1320 comes back. You may eventually get to where you have to replace another coil.

If you check coils, pick up some electrical contact cleaner and do a little cleaning while you are working on them. Sometimes you get lucky and it's just a dirty connection.
