01 Pathfinder 3.5L V6 Manual TransmissionMilage 87,000 miles

Having some major problems with my truck.Initially I had code P0153. Before I had time to fix the P0153 (O2 Sensor), another code showed up, P0505(Idling). Along with the P0505 came problems with acceleration and idling. I would stall when starting up the car cold and the car would not go over 3500 - 4000 RPM. It would go up and then back down and then up and down repeatedly if I kept on the gas. The code P0300 shows up (engine mis-fire).

I took it to the dealer who advised that I replace the ignition coils and spark plugs. I did this and the idling and RPM problem is still there. As far as I can tell. the coil replacement did nothing to solve it. The codes were cleared by the dealer and have not returned.

HELP!!!

GOOD CALL!! Went to another dealership and he said the same thing.

Funny thing is that I drove my truck this afternoon and it seemed to be driving fine. I was driving cautiously, trying not to take it over 3000 rpm. I was in stop and go traffic and decided to drop the truck in neutral and just rev the engine to see if the problem was still there and it wasn't. I took it to 7000 rpm with no problem at all. Weird! The other weird thing is that I got a P0171 code now! Fuel System Lean? That's got me confused even more! I'm guessing that it's caused by the MAF sensor.

Anyways, I bought a reconditioned MAF sensor and will do the install myself on Thursday. I'll clear the codes and see what happens. I'll let you all know how it turns out!
