01 Pathfinder climate issue

hey guys,for the past few days passengers have been complainingthere is cool air coming from the passenger footrest area while the ac/heat is off...1st occurance was with my dad but i wasnt too concerned 2ndand 3rd attempt got me to fiddle with the climate control placing it on AUTOthen OFF immediatly then the problem solves.

any suggestions?

You might have a blend motor flap issue, or you just left it in fresh air mode, and forgot to put it in recirculation.

there could a possibility i dont notice anything at the driver side loli'll fool around with it bit more and see how it goes...tha

dunno if the electronic climate control is any different, but i know that happens on manual control if you have it in fresh air mode and if you have it set for the air to come out at your feet, even though the fan is off. this has happened on every car i have owned. change the vent that the air comes out of or put it on recirculate and it will block the outside air from blowing in.

It never occurred to me to switch the supply air to recirc to stop the incoming air. On nearly every car I've owned, tt has always annoyed the hell out of me that even when I had the HVAC control off, air would still come in.

lol yea you can feel it immediately if you have it pointed at your face while driving down the road and hit the recirc button.
