01 Pathfinder Bose Swap

My Bose CD changer on my 01 Pathfinder crapped out on me. What I was wondering was could I swap out that head unit for one out of the 02 and through 04 Pathfinder. It is a different head unit with RDS but I dont want to buy it off ebay and it not work because I know the Bose units have amps built seperate. Dose anyone know if this will work or if they have done it. Thanks

They got OEM replacement cd changers on e-bay for $99, I have one too that I'm not using I'll give it to you for $80+s/h, it came out of my 2000 QX4 and should be the same 6 disc cd changer.

I really would rather change the whole unit with one out of a 2002-04 pathfinder cause those have rds and I like the look better. Thats if it would work with the amps allready in my pathfinder
