In my 2k1 maxima I recently bought, it seems like the passenger side window just seems to get slower and slower, it slowed down so much tonight i had to sit and cheer it on to get past the middle of its travel. It seems to be fine after it gets 3/4 the way up, but other than that, slooooowwww. What to do?

If it's only slow part of the way, it might just need to be lubed.

Pull off the door panel and apply white lithium grease to the track and move the window up and down.

You could also try a silicone based spay lube in the window channels. If that doesn't help, it may be your motor going out, or the regulator binding.

With the spray your saying I can spray it down where the window comes up from without touching the door panel? (sorry, i'm not sure how to explain that)

I'm talking about the channels that guide the side of the glass.

There is a screw at the bottom of the handhold cup thing in the arm rest, and another at the upper front corner of the panel (which I believe is hidden by the dash when the door is closed). Remove those.

Then start at the bottom of the panel and pry away from the door. The panel is held in place with plastic clips that will pop out (and potentially break) when you pull. Once you've popped them all out and have all screws removed, the panel just lifts off. You may want to stop by the dealer and pick up a few replacement clips, but it's not really necessary. My driver's door is missing a couple but still sits firmly to the door.

A good tool for prying the clips loose is a flathead screwdriver wrapped in a t-shirt or other thin rag.

Oops, sorry. I forgot about the electrical connections.
