01 GXE stalling at idle or at stops

I am working on a friends sentra that we just changed out the plugs and did an oil change on last night. He was telling me the car stalled on him this past week and wanted to do some maintenance work so we went ahead and changed the plugs, air filter, and changed the oil. Took it out for a spin and it died two blocks away.

Brought it back to the garage and checked the check engine light it just had a converter code and a code for an evap valve. Cleared em and ran it again. Stalled again in thr garage once it warmed up. Looked for a solution and a few people said maf sensor. So i cleaned it and did the relearn and it seemed to work for a short period.

Once it started stalling every three minutes as soon as i tried hitting the gas to keep it on it wouldnt respond and just die....it would idle between 785-830 in park and around 750 in drive. Once it would go to about 600 i knew it was gonna start stumbling and just die on me.

What should i start testing? No codes would come up on the scanner amd after it died 5-6 times it wouldnt start unless i waited a minute or so.

I think that your issue is with the evap valve.
Get the factory service manual and determine if you can fix it or not.

Check the fuse inside the car labeled electronics which controls the IACV valve one place to check.
