I'm not sure what's the problem here, hopefully you guys have heard something like it and know the answer. In my car, you have to insert the key and turn in to the on position for around 4 minutes before the security light goes off and the car will start. At first, the car would shut off while you were driving but you could re-crank it with no problems. Then it's involved into sometimes cutting off and sometimes not starting, and now once you get it started it runs fine. The dealer told me it's the torque converter but it seems more likely to me to be something wrong with the security system because when it's not starting, the security light is on and when the light goes off, you can start it. They said they re-synced the key with the car but still no luck.Any thoughts on this?
