just recently finished my 00vi swap. only issue i ran into was my friend didn't plug in one of the ignition coil plugs all the way and it was misfiring. thought it was a bad vac leak but figured it out when i pulled the codes.

i also did the PRCAI setup since i don't like the idea letting my intake sit in the hot engine bay. i think i am the first w/ the PRCAI setup for the 00vi. haven't seen anyone do this yet. went and bought a 6'' straight pipe extender and cut it down to 5''. also had to cut off both of the little nubs on the midpipe.i think the 5th gen mid pipe would of worked better as far as a smooth installation. the 4rth gen was really stubborn.

the 00vi prob took me 12 hours b/c of running back and forth to the parts store getting all the right hoses and what not. so all in all, it prob took close to 15 hours to get it running perfect.

thanks. pr stands for place racing. i call it that b/c the cai i have is pretty much that design. i still have the stock scoop so it can hold up my boost sensor and air intake temp sensor in place.

i redline so quick now, power above 5000rpm is pleasing!
