.004 removed from head during resurfacing. Is a 1.1mm headgasket safe? N/T

Just figured I'd post what Ken from enjuku said about it.
Ken Harrison @ Enjuku Racing wrote:4 thousands is 0.10mm so you should be good. I believe the stock HG is like.8 or 1.0 if remember correctly. So you should be good to go.
Hopefully this'll help the next person with this type of question.

Yeah, I was gonna say you will probably be fine.I put a 1.6mm HG and I took off .004 from the block and .006 from the head and I have between 150 and 155 compression on all 4 cylinders

*edit* Looking back on my notes, stock hg is .80mm

.004" equals to .1016mm. So 1.1mm hg would be more than you would need.

Thanks for the reassurance, guys. I felt like beating my head off the wall trying to figure out what to do to keep my stock compression. Wasn't sure if the Stock HG was 1.0m or 1.1mm. The SR FAQ states 1.1mm, but I'm pretty sure that's for replacement purposes...
