so as many of you know i have the youngest Q, well she has alot of rust issues that i was going to deal with, but a buddy of mine got a hold of a Q and is using the engine in his 240sx, well hes gunna give me the shell to his 92. the car is in pretty good condition and i was thinking about swapping my engine and transmission and interior. i really want to keep the 000735 but it looks as if i may be getting rid of her, more then likely part out the parts from the cars i dont want. hmm, so debating if i should go through all the hastle of fixing all the rot or just swap it

If the body is corrosion free, swap the mechanicals as it is much less expensive than repairing the body correctly.

Now don't give up I have to make #8049 -1/90 last until Feb 2010....8 more months it should be ~~ 330,000 miles with as built engine, rack, ps pump, coils, chains, cats, body, paint, and interior/seats etc. The benefit of gray leather. Can this Q make it 20 years without an accident or insurance claim. Only 5760 hours to go.

2002 Windshield just cracked from top to bottom plus 2 stars.

the 92 Q i am getting has no rust, repated body, no dents, missing a driver door and a wing, every thing else is mint, i want to swap my interior and drivetrain. i think the 20 years and 314,789 miles on my 90 is just a bit too much maintanace for right now, im in college and curently dont have a licence due to college stupidity. so with my time i was going to swap over to a newish body. i love the 90 and love the fact that is is #735 but is just more of a hastle to fix all the rust then anything else, ill take picutres and try to figure out how to post them of the rust

Why not just give your buddy your engine, and save all the time and hassle of both of you pulling and re-installing an engine?
