I need to replace the coolant temperature sensor on a '00 max gxe, auto, approx 87,890 miles. How and where is the coolant temperature sensor ocated on the car?

I'm looking into it's location, but I can tell you that it lists out as a .6 of an hour job, so it can't be hiding too deep...--Mike

I read the whole section of the FSM about the cooling system. I could not even find where it is mentioned. Not in the index, or the cooling system section. I'll ask Kenny if he knows where it is located.

So I found it but I don't have my camera on me so I can't take a picture of it. I'll take one with my phone but it maybe a little too small. (I know, I know. That's what she said. HAR HAR.)

any luck with getting your camera to take the picture to show me where to locate the sensor? Can you provide step by step instructions to locate and replace sensor?
