00 Frontier not acclerating - chugging

On the way back from the store my truck won't go over 40mph. It started chugging like it was going to die and even when I pressed the accelerator, it wouldn't go any faster. I read that someone else was having the same problem, (Joe67, I think). I wondered if they ever got it figured out? I might add it's never done this before and it's raining.

Could be a fuel delivery issue. Have you checked the fuel pump, injectors, spark plugs?
