00 frontier ka24de with 240 transmission?

the engines are the same, but what modification is needed to strap the 240 transmission into the frontier? the frontier is 2 wheel drive. if swapping transmission isn't possible, are the gears interchangeable? just looking for something with a little more pep and better gas mileage. dont really use the truck for towing. i'm kinda new to the nissan community, so if this is an ignorant question dont hate me. any help would be appreciated.

Even if the swap were possible,and it's not due to a lack of CKPS location,the gear ratios would not change.

i thought that the transmissions of the frontier and 240's were different. how would the gear ratios be the same? and what do you mean by the ckps?

sorry if these are stupid questions, but i'm used to hondas...

Crankshaft position sensor.In 4th gear the ratio is 1:1.In 5th they are close to .75:1.
