I was racing a caprise classic coming home from a party, and at one point in the race, i down shifted into 3rd. as i was reaching red line, i shifted into 2nd instead of 4th by accident. this caused either a bent valve ont he exhaust side on cylinder 2, or the valve is stuck open. I have a 12V SOHC KA24E motor. Im use to working on the DOHC motor in my altima, so working on the internals of the E motor is a lil different. anyone know the best way to fix this issue? Im hoping i dont have to take the head off and send it to a shop to get a valve job. Let me know the best route to take

The only way yo get a new valve in is to have the head out.

the rocker arm on that valve is loose. im not sure if just replacing the rocker will help, or if i need to replace the valve too. the exhaust valve is definatley stuck open
