I was wondering what the average 0-60mph time of a 89-93 240 with an almost stock SR20DET.

well that narrows it rite on down now doesnt it, anywya, id say its safe to say that a stock sr2o powered 93 24o (27oolbs w/ about 185hp @ the wheels) should run about high 5s to lower 6s (5.8-6.2)

we have had several of these questions, and several discussions about launching.. so let me change this threads direction

What about staging? should we be shallow or deep staging?

I'm an amature at drag racing at the strip. How do you know when you've staged too deep or too shallow?

the lights tell you if you've staged shallow or deep....whether the first light stays lite or goes out....i shallow stage...

neither is 'better' or 'worse'..you can argue for both, if you have the perfect reaction time (which i have far from) stage deep...if you stage shallow your MPH should be higher, but et will be higher also...if you stage deep, your et should be lower....figure shallow stage you arent at a complete stand still when you break the lights

at the level 'you're' probrobly on, it wont make a difference in times
