Hey,
I got G-tech recently (bout a month ago) and tested it tonight at an office complex in the woods. I only went for two runs just incase there was security working late. Anyway, I got a disapointing 8.33 seconds first, and 8.44 seconds second try. Second time I chirped the tires figuring that's when you know you launched the best but don't know if I switched gears quickly because I was feeling a little grinding going on.
So... I know I can improve my shifting a little, and possibly the launch BUT I do have hs headers, cat back exhaust, and injen ram air intake installed. I should be getting atleast 7 seconds.QUESTIONS
TRACTION1.) I have new tires, but do not have LSD. I don't feel wheel spin, so LSD wouldn't help now, right?
2.)Chirping tires slightly means I got the best launch possible, right? It's difficult to do this and sometimes I have to rev to 3k and drop it because my tires grip well. (continental touring extreme contact)
transmission 3.) This grinding I'm feeling.. is that because I don't put my foot all the way to the floor? Because I swear I get it when my foots to the floor (clutch pedal), or atleast 1 cm away.. It feels as if my syncros are working slow because If I don't shift quickly it's not a problem. Maybe it's just my brain and I'm letting go of the clutch to quickly but I doubt it. Is this a common problem with all 240sx's? If you shift quickly theres a slight grind in the transmission because I'm guessing the syncros aren't the best in the 240sx?

Weight
4.) I'm preaty sure I have my g-tech lined up, and reading 0G before starting so it was level. I entered 2955lbs weight because I know a 240sx weights about 2800, I weight 150lbs and I just got 5 dollars worth of high-octane. This doesn't include crap in the truck, spare, etc. If my entered weight is incorrect, does that make my 0-60 slower, or is weight only used when measuring horsepower? I don't know how weight would be used when doing 0-60. Wouldn't 0-60 just use G force and time?
5.) Where do you use your g-tech? Parking lot, state highway with stop lights, or deserted streets? There aren't parking lots in my area that are big enough, and if I try highway everytime someone comes up to me at a light and I'm doing a g-tech run they think I'm racing (my exhaust is LOUD) and are up my *** the whole time after I get the data I need. (what a runon)
I'll try to come up with more questions when I think of more, and I'll try again some other night, or whenever I have the g-tech setup and I'm at a light on a highway.
peace
