Do you know where your brake booster is? Behind the master cylinder on the firewall?
There's a vacuum hose attached to it leading to your intake manifold...you want to disconnect that hose from the brake booster and SLOWLY pour seafoam into it. I used a tiny funnel that fit into the hose that helps a lot.
Just pour in about half or 2/3 of the can slowly and carefully, not letting your engine stall, and then pour in enough to stall the engine. Connect your vacuum hose back to the booster, and let it sit. The longer it sits the longer the seafoam will react with the carbon buildup and supposedly it will clean it better. I usually let it sit for 30 mins to and hour.
Then start it up. It will be hard to run for a few seconds, just keep your foot on the gas pedal and don't let the engine stall back out. Then roll the windows up and get ready for a smoke show
Oh ps -- keep the rpms at about 3500 until it stops shooting smoke out the mufflers.
We do this at my work, but the only difference is we don't use seafoam we use something called full throttle. The normal price (everywhere) for this service is around $70! Can you believe that?
