Ok so with Thor and the Green Lantern coming to theatres this summer and a new Iron Man, Captain America movie in the works along with an Avengers movie and Justice league movie in Pre-Production it would appear that the comic book industry is starting to get some serious main stream publicity. What other comic books would you like to see made into movies and which ones do you follow.

I'm a huge Punisher fan and I've always liked the Xmen. I have yet to see Wolverine Origins but heard it was good. Apparently they are making another Origins film, but I'm not exactly sure which of the Xmen it will be.

The next origins film is magneto.

And i love all the comic book movies. All the ones you mentioned i'm anticipating especially the justice league...i really can't wait for the superman reboot...i'm tired of him fighting these dumbass villains or even lex luthor...i wanna see them destroying whole cities and leveling mountains with the power he has against somebody of similar power.

Wait that Dragonball live action film came out, when was this? I completely missed it hahaha.I have yet to see the 2nd Punisher but I think they could make another or at least I would like to see another. The first one was sick, they should have kept Thomas Jane. I really really really hope they don't screw up the avengers because the new avengers comic has been really good.

Just saw it last night. Twas bad. Did no justice.

Best part was when he tried to gel his hair down and it shot gel everywhere when it popped back. Not redeeming enough to save the film but I laughed.

Thor and Green Lantern are both hitting screens in 2011, not 2010.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd love to see Matt Wagner's Grendel make it to the big screen except for the fact that it would get all screwed up.

And of course Badger.

They are remaking Conan the Barbarian and Red Sonja, hopefully both are as good as the originals were. Rose Magowen <sp?> is Red Sonja, no word yet on who will be Conan. I'm surprised they haven't made a Captain America movie yet, he's one of the characters that put Stan Lee and Marvel Comics on the map.

Disney officially completed the purchase of Marvel Comics last week, how do you think this will impact any future Marvel films? Consideirng the budget that Disney has along with Universal Studios I can't help but think that this will be good and bad.

Oh if there are any Wonder Woman fans out there, that is slated to come out next year, however there is no official word on who Wonder Women is, but this look good to me...

However Megan Gale has been cast to play Wonder Woman in the new Justice League movie, if you do a search you'll find some very nice NSFW pictures of her, but here's who is casted for who in the upcoming JLA movie...

I haven't seen it, and have no intention of seeing it, but I don't need to see it to know it sucks. The following facts clear that up:

A: The actor who plays Goku couldn't act his way out of an unlocked room with neon exit signs and automatic doors and conveyor belts leading to all the doors.B: It takes place on this earth.C: It is about Goku's life in high school.

Recipe for fail.

I hate to say it, but the majority of movies that have been adapted from comic books have been horrible. Ive always enjoyed the X-men series and I liked the first film, but the second and third were horrible. I didnt care too much for the Wolverine one, though I did enjoy the new characters.

Hopefully the new Magneto film will be good. I would love to see it pick up in the WWII part of his life.

Some future movies that look promising:

DeadpoolDaredevil 2.0 (http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ ... 4638)Green LanternGhostbusters 3

What I dislike about the comic live actions is that they take a story and use part of the comic story, and then part of their own and meld it. They need to either remake a whole comic series into a movie, or make a whole complete spin off from the writers of the comic.

Stop trying to get the public's opinion on it, you'll never make them happy that way.

You heard wrong my friend. Very wrong. During the Wolvie/Sabertooth fight in New Orleans, just ask yourself this: WHERE THE PHUCK IS GAMBIT COMING FROM?! I'm not kidding. It makes zero sense. The movie stops being good about 20 minutes in.

Oh and Dragonball Evolution? Pretty highly ranked among the worst shyt I have ever seen. Whenever I hear a person say they liked that movie, I immediately begin to think of them as functionally retarded, including my mom and sister.

What movie would I like to see made? Longshot, Shatterstar or the StarJammers... But you can't follow the normal comic booky rules of these. Gotta do like the first two Blade movies and make 'em real dark...

Captain America is currently in development. It's set in WWII and tentatively sub-titled The First Avenger. Once Cap, and Thor are made the plan was to release an Avengers movie using all the actors from the individual founding members of the Avengers (Cap, Thor, Hulk & Iron Man - not sure about Ant Man & Wasp). From various reading it seems to be a little up in the air now. Jon Favreau (Iron Man director) did confirm that he won't be directing it. Bummer...he did a great job with Iron Man.

...and not pick nits, but Captain America is a Jack Kirby & Joe Simon character (though Stan did do some material for the book early on) and was published under the Timely Comics brand name, which turned into Atlas Comics and eventually evolved into Marvel (in 1961). The first book that really put Marvel on the map was Fantastic Four, but that was (along with Jack Kirby) a Stan Lee creation.

No, I don't live in my mother's basement. But I do have a metric ton of comics in my basement.

If they can make Dr.Manhattan in the Watchmen I don't see why they can't do Apocalypse, the problem with him is that the Marvel Universe pretty much all fight him, he's not limited to just one team or superhero. I would like to see another Punisher movie, the first one (which is technically the second one) was pretty much dead on with the second version, Punisher War Zone was alright, I think they took a few too many liberties, but the fact that they made it dark and gruesome made it better. They are talking about making a third one which has Microchip featured more prominently.

I recently watched the Incredible Hulk and thought it was pretty good, still haven't seen the Ang Lee version but I've heard that it sucked. I also haven't seen the Spiderman 3 which I heard wasn't even worth the first 5 minutes.

Apocolypse movie would be bomb if done correctly. I would love to see the "days of future past" series be made into a trilogy of sorts with the whole marvel universe being involved.

if any of your are smallville fans (i know, but i just can't stop watching it, i love superman) there was a 2 hour movie event last friday that featured the justice society of america and a few members of the justice league. it was pretty cool and we got to see Dr. Fate for the first time in action.

I actually really liked Watchmen, it was one of the very few that followed the comic.

The first punisher (not the one made in 89) was alright. It didnt follow the storyline though. Warzone was awful. I dont how anyone could of sat through that entire film.

And nobody has commented on Ghostbusters 3 yet???

Is no one else disappointed that Samuel L Jackson is now being cast as Nick Fury? I'm sorry but Nick Fury is not black, Sylvester Stallone would make a better Nick Fury than Samuel L does.

Ghostbusters 3 isn't really comic book related, but I am looking forward to seeing it.

A Punisher vs. Wolverine or Punisher vs. Spiderman movie would be decent if they did it right, after all Spidey is who put the Punisher on the map.

Any idea who the next 2 villians in Batman 3 wioll be? I'd like to see Bane and Killer Croc or Harley Quinn and the Penguin.

I hear ya on the nick fury thing but remember what they did to kingpin in DD? yea....

oh and i would like to see bane as batmans next villain but done right and i want to see him actually break batmans back and then that way nolan could actually leave and we can end that trilogy that way.

Has anyone read Y: The Last Man? It's the only series I've read in a long while and thought it was great. I hear that a movie version is in the works, I'm very afraid of how badly it'll suck. The movie version is always a disaster, especially when Shia Lebouf is attached.
