Hey guys, so basically i had a 90 300zx non turbo which is now totalled and sitting in my drive way as a parts car. I now have a '91 s13 Coupe I took off the limited slip dif and axles as well as the front and rear calipers, rotors, hubs, and knuckles. My question is what will fit right now and what will i need to buy to make the rest fit? My goal is to be all 5 lug, with front and rear z calipers and rotors. My car is not being built for drifting, so the ebrake is of no concern, the stock s13 ebrake will do just fine preventing me from rolling away when parked . Please help, i'd like to get this done this weekend if everything goes smoothly.

What I've heard is only the rear hubs will fit and i will need the ichiba conversion hubs for the front? and i've also heard i need spl conversion lines and j30 axles for the dif... dont know which of those things are true though.

Front brakes, rear brakes, rear hubs, and knuckles if your for the challenge. Cant use the front hubs. The diff can work, there is a write up on how to do it.

Yeah thats what i heard to. And the dif will work with the j30 axles only? or are you saying that the 240/300 axles will work ?

if its a 90-96 Z32 NA diff, you need 1993-1994 J30 5 bolt flange axles or the 180SX axles. I have found those J30 axles in the junk yard before many times.

I gave up on posting that link a long time ago. If people would search, not just go through the first 5 results, not find what they want, and give up they would have found it and not have to ask a question that has been answered countless times.

edit clear answers for the diff: http://www.ka24development.com/vlsd.html

Good searching would have found this to.

Wait, if i used z32 dif, axles, and rear hubs that wouldn't work? If they were all together on my Z how are they not going to fit on the 240?

ive found everything needed to know just by searching this site or using google. read the links i sent ya, theres lots of good info

this was pulled from the link i sent you.

The conversion on S13's is not as simple. If you want to follow the path of using all OE parts, you will need the S14 upright, along with the S14 ball joint. The ball joint is necessary for the reason that the shape of the S13 ball joint prevents it from working properly and creates a extremely unsafe vehicle to drive.

The alternative to doing all of this work, including trying to source out used components that are not damaged or worn is to use a 5-lug conversion hub. PDM Racing offers a few alternatives, one is pictured below

Alright guys just a quick update. I just purchased a pair of front 5 lug conversion hubs from a guy over on Zilvia. Now i have the back hubs from my 300zx like i said earlier so i guess now all there is to do is find a 92-94 j30 axle hmm.. I've also got some 5 lug wheels on the way. Thanks for all your help guys, its much appreciated, this whole swap will go a lot smoother now. Ill be sure to post pictures when im done with everything
