I am interested in purchasing some 17inch wheels with around a 35mm offset. Im just looking around at how this offset might look on the car. I have a 91 240 hatch. I ride on kyb agx suspension. I was having some trouble finding any pictures, and any would be appreciated.

First off, how WIDE of a wheel?Second. No.Third, they'll rub your sweet-tastic strut/spring combo depending on width.

17x9+35 on the rear.

Mounting some 285/40/17s on them soon.

These are with 245/40/17s, not in or out, will stick out some with the tires an +1.5 degrees on the rear.

A 17x9+35 will fit a wide 275-285 all day and still allow you to dial in a little camber with a simple hammer / rolled lip, no pull needed.

9's are common. But a 9inch in a +25 to 35 fit pretty good with a decent tire. If you want a stretched tire and more negative camber go with a lower offset and like a 235-225 tire.

That's just the rears. The fronts have 17x8 +30. Fenders are slightly rolled all around.

But they are not negative, so did you waste your time?

You made the statement, I merely pointed out an observation based on what you stated.

No. I didn't purchase either rims. Both sets came with my car.

If I purchased a set of rims that were not burnoffs, they WOULD be in the negatives. So my statement holds true.

True to your opinion only. I don't need negative offset?! +35 looks great on lots of cars.

IMO a +25-+35 on a 9-10inch wheel with a square or beefy tire fit nice.

Depends on your personal and drying styles. A 17x9 or 9.5 +30's fits a 275-295 damn well without pulling a fender.
