Theres a TSB regarding this, and my dealer replaced the tracks under my seat, under warranty. They must have had the parts in stock, because it only took a few hours.chak210 wrote:Hi, I have noticed that some people have mentioned that their driver seat moves a little bit when you apply brakes. I started to notice that my seat moves too when I brake. Does anyone know how to fix it.
Thanks a lot in advance
That would drive me insane.dvan wrote:Yeah my seat does the same thing...
Too bad I didnt realize it before I hit 60K...
I have to live with it now! Too much to fix for such a small problem

Mine is only noticeable under hard braking so its not that big of a deal. Besides, i think Stevethetech mentioned one time that it would cost over 1500 bucks to fix...no way I could justify that with the wife!! lolluvmym35 wrote:That would drive me insane.
I bought mine with 57.5k and I had them replace the stuff below in my sig (not petty stuff!) You just have to make your case.chak210 wrote:I dont know if the dealer would fix my car under warranty, i bought it used with 55k on it

this is one of the first things i also noticed when buying my M45 this summer.. It was drving me crazy.. guess i "hard brake" alot.. anyway.. my dealer had my car 10 days to fix this and other minor stuff. they had to order a new track and it took quite a while.. from what my service guy told me, it's quite an expensive fix.. would probably pay for most of an extended warranty by itself.. now my bluetooth keeps disconnecting with my phone, so they ordered me a whole new nav unit... that and install would have been over 2k.. glad i'm still under warranty.. gonna be hard not to buy the extended warranty for this car.. two little things like a seat track and a faulty bluetooth and I would have been looking at about 4k.. crazy!ArbitrageMan wrote:

Since it is a 2007 (and considering that it is still under 60k miles) it is still covered by the 4 year/60k mile Basic warranty coverage that comes with all Infinities and doesn't matter where the car was purchased and if it was purchased with a warranty. Therefore, this TSB should be covered for free by the dealer.BlackKnight wrote:Bredtime: I am having the same issue. There is only one dealer here in Salt Lake City and I didnt buy my car from them; I bought my car without warranty. I only have extended warranty. Its an 07. Do you think the dealer should still grant it?
That is GREAT to know...I just got my 2006 M35 and it just turned 59k!! I should really see where the closest infiniti dealership is and see if they'll fix it ASAP! Thanks for the info!!!bredtime wrote:

Is the dealer giving you a hard time about it?
I will try thatBackdoc7 wrote:If you reported the problem before you were out of warranty, i think you should be covered. I would definitely talk to the service manager and tell him you reported it while under warranty and it not only was not fixed but has gotten worse. Worth a try.
Well I have talked to the dealer twice so far. Of course everyone is saying that it is out of warranty so there is nothing to be done. One guy did say bring it in and there is the small possiblity ( and if I have been getting enough of my maintenance done with the dealership) Infiniti may fix it under good will. I am considering making an appoinment but am not sure. The issue does not bother me that much and I really wonder if it would be worth all the hassle only to find out the answer is no. Evertime I go to the dealership its on a week day when I can stop by after work. It's not exactly on the way home. We shall see. I really don't want to go through all of the trouble of making an appoinmtent and giving up a couple extra hours of my day to find out the answer is still no.M35 Sport wrote:
