Makes sense. I'm just used to my car with limo tint. If I see an officer even change lanes behind me the belt would go on  Now I just wear it everywhere. My other question, How do you contest a ticket if you truely were wearing your seatbelt and the officer made a mistake? It seems that this is one of those things wear if you're accused you're guilty

Same, I cant even turn the motor over w/out my seatbelt on, even in the Corolla where I have to hook up all 5 points of my harness. Something feels wrong if I dont wear it.

my local Nissan dealership informed me that the automatic seatbelts in my 240 are under a lifetime warranty, cos its a safety issue. Go visit your dealer and see what they say.

Yea this was in my integra and acura has the same lifetime warrant for the same reason...i just have to call and make an appointment...i was just mad because he saw i was wearing a belt but not my shoulder belt...oh well..just have to get it fixed and then fight it in court.

I'll admit, I've been driving my mustang around since my 240's motor blew, and since it's not automatic, a lot of times I forget about it. I quickly notice when I check my speed, seatbelts of everyone in the car whenever I see a cop.
