From what my friend was telling me, it's fairly easy to put an SR20 into anything. I think there is a Saturn SC2 running around with one.

ugh.. I'm blocked at work and can't see any of the pics...

but let me just say...

All motor 200whp > boosted 200whp

so unless the guy's planning on going over 300whp or something on a larger boost set up... I would have just gone with a K20 swap like every other fan boy, lol.

"an SR20 is definitely a sub-par engine compared to almost every other Honda engine. "

That's a GTi-R engine. 300whp is an FMIC and boost increase away. No need for even a bigger turbo.

That said, if I was in a Honda I'd probably have stuck to one of the fabulous other Honda engines that would be easier to get in there.

the thing is that all those fabulous honda engines go for so much money than this gti-rwe got the whole front clip for 2500 shipped from canada the rest is just custom fab wich is almost free cause we do everything ourselves, by the way the hard part of this swap is going to be the AWD conversion,

Interesting swap. Problem with getting upgraded Honda motors is you never really know what is stolen or not unless you pull it yourself.

Keep us updated on the dyno results and AWD config.

EDIT: Can you adjust your sig image? 600x200 is the maximum size. Thx

actually i just had a former SE-R and current 240 hopeful ragging on my purchase of a GTI in the Sentra section. GTI Slow? sure in the grand scheme of things (When compared to a 300z and 350z), but how can some one in their right mind who is looking to purchase a at the very least 11 year old car with 155hp engine rag on a current Gen GTI?

its not the fact that he said its slow its just coming from a kid looking for a slow old car. i never talk ish about 240s in general. they are great RWD cars on the cheap but it takes an engine swap or a turbo kit (with engine work) to make them quick. Mad props to the guys who do their 240s right. Fan boi ism just gets old, know what i mean?

oh and BTW some VW vortex guys can be just as bad.
