You should ditch the stock turbo and go with a turbo from a S13 CA18DET. They are super cheap. As for the gasket, I would go to one of the NICO sponsors and order it. Midway is my favorite.

BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE A S12 SECTION!!!

The 240 section is completely the WRONG place to put this, and the other forums don't get enough traffic to make it worth it.

240 envy?

Dont worry, the S12 may be often forgotten, but it is still loved.

I actually sold my S13 so I could get an S12. I didn't really want a VG model, but the body was in such great shape I couldn't refuse.

What's even funnier, I sold my S13 to Bart. That's my old Silvia front end he's sporting on his 'vert.

I would definitely sell my soul, and throw in the S13, to the devil for a no-rust S30.

I would just go get a cheap elbow from ebay and get a custom down pipe made at your local shop. In the meantime, you can run open for a while and get that massive sound, lol. Cops will love you to death.

if it's not the stock turbo...consider yourself lucky for the upgrade.

is it still on the stock exhaust mani?

sounds kinda like someone half assed a T25 on it....

if it's the stock manifold, the normal gasket will work.

i will do that.. also i did some reaserch for the turbo and its an airresearch turbo "GARRET" wich came in a 1980's volvo 740 .48 diameter turbine. i know where i can get my hands on a few of those guys so im headed there now see if i can find a dump pipe fir this thing... if not a new t3 turbo....

Regardless if wether it is a 1.8 or a 2.0 liter displacement motor, a T3 is not a good choice for you. I would not go above a T28 unless you have many supporting modifications, including a custom intake manifold and nice fuel system.

Basically, if you throw a T3 on there, you risk having a ****ty tune with loads of lag and lots of problems. Don't do it.
