Dear,Dattebayo,dusred,93coupe,drifterxrps13,G_whizz,Marlin29311,dITTOZ7DRKSOLEST, NUMBNUTS240,

I really appreciate all the consideration and maturity in regards to my questions....

I merely asked the opinions of the well informed. In turn I recieve harsh criticism, ignorant comments, sans abundance of useful information.

I do sincerely apologize if I had offended any one, but on the same note,I was simply asking for some expertise.......

In regards to the terms and conditions, they were not viewable at the time of sign up.... Not an excuse by any stretch, but more of an explanation...

So, with that in mind maybe next time a question is asked, an answer will soon follow ....

I have been lurking in nico for it seems like an eternity(it is the most vast source of nissan/infiniti info afterall) but seriously,

I have not found any detailed info on the complete z32 tt rear irs/diff/axles swap...

I know where the search button is......I use it daily..Like I said I've been on nico for a while..Never needed to ask a question, because I use the search button,I'm not new to nico or cars(had 33+)Just new to this screen name....

I setup an account so I could ask that question, there isnt enough info,I've looked elsewhere as well, where are the crazy austrailians/new zealanders when you need them?

in australia and new zealand. but seriously, if you have been lurking for as long as you say, then you should have known what kind of response to expect given the answers that you asked. none of this should come as any surprise to you. btw, if you haven't noticed, one of the mods was nice enough to move your irs thread to 240gen. check the traffic there and maybe someone has already posted info to help you out.

have you tried the z forum...i'm sure the guys in there would know what's interchangeable and whatnot...

the only australian that i know of on this board is ozzie...but i haven't seen him on here in a quite some time.

also try the online mechanic forum as well....i'd say try 240 gen chat but they would eat you alive in there.

good luck!

LOL I'm first on the **** list! hahahaha

Yeah, if your trying to be a serious member, great, I'm sorry. I love to piss off spammer tho, it's funny to see what half-*** things they might say to defend their motives.

Converting to a entire Z32 subframe is only slightly better than a 240 has. Our articles section is listed under the "how-to" button at the top of the page, most of the stuff we have outlined is in there (if it is up and running now... ).

This is from one of my old posts:

"Looks like a z32 diff, if its from an N/A or TT I have no idea. With the sr-t it'd be great for you if it were the TT diff (longer gearing).

The axles in your 240 have a 6 bolt pattern, you need axles from a 92-95 infinity j30 to make it work. The axles in those years came with the 5 and 6 bolt pattern, make sure the junk yard gets you the right ones. You cannot use z32 axles, they will bolt up but are about an inch too long on both sides.

My N/A z32 diff reads:

3831143H00

on the top of diff. It looks like yours also reads 38311 and looks like it says 43H00 but I can't tell for sure."

basically if you want to use the tt z32 diff, you need to get 5-bolt star pattern axles from a 92-95 infiniti j30. You need them because the z32 axles are about an inch too long on both sides to fit into the 240 subframe. You also need to take the rear cover off your stock 240 diff (after draining the fluid) and put that cover onto the z32 pumpkin to make it fit in the 240 subframe.

I still have my N/A diff and j30 axles. The diff already has a 240 rear cover on it. If you're interested in both or just the axles if you want a TT diff, just let me know and I'll get a price with shipping.

but seriously, use the "search" button, and after a while, all the flaming will commence, or become an inside joke like with me and the rest of NICO. I get flammed on the few win threads I make, but I take it all as joke, and not to heart, as should you.

JESUS....i SHOULD TURN CAPS OFF...

why are you wanting to swap in a Z32 rear? Especially with the explosion of parts available for the 240 over the Z32.

hell, they run the same R200 rear differential...about all you'd gain is a better rear brake setup....and a slightly wider track in the rear.....

Hahahahah.....Right this coming from the kid with the home depo lip kit....I guess you would need some balls to do something as ridiculous as that!

To quote yodawill2000 "Something bought from the lawn and garden section on a Infiniti.Barf ..."

Also from the guy that thought his car was turbocharged.......And the guy that thought a chevy motor in a nissan was rice....

To quote the wise words of mr AZhitman himself"People who are so closed-minded that they care who manufactured the engine in their car aren't true enthusiasts. So, when I drop a VH45DETT in a '23 T-bucket, you can just skip the thread and not comment.

Wait, let me go back to the OP's first post, word by word:

Why do - Don't worry about it.ricers - This is rice? Are you stoned?always - Broad generalization from someone who doesn't get out much.**** up - This car is ***e'd up? Looks like it's purpose-built to me.nice cars - Ummm, a tired S14, probably a former wreck, ain't "nice".

There ya go. "

I don't know what the hell you are trying to say, but you should stop making fun of the members. They shouldn't be making fun of you either, but seriously, why would you want to swap in a Z32 rear sub frame? Obviously no one has done it/read about it, so your question isn't going to get answered here (which was aparant by your last post, which we moved on purpose, so why start a new one?).

If you want it so bad, go out there and start doing it!

Thanx for the info....But actually as I had stated before , I would like to transplant the complete z32 tt irs, subframe, hubs, axles brakes etc....

I do understand that the z32 axles are longer than the 240, and wouldnt work in a 240 subframe...But I wanted a z32 subframe in an s13.....

But thanx for the idea......very informative....

But, its my understanding that an r200 diff cover will not fit an r230, you know an r230 has a 9.0551 in (230mm as in r230) ring gear and an r200 has a 7.874 in ring gear (200mm as in r200)

so with that that in mind, i conceived the notion of dropping in a complete z32 tt rear subframe and hardware.....

But srsly, we get enough spammers on here that it get's old after a while so we figure it's fun to chase them away. If I seem'd a bit harsh at first I apologize and hope you'll stick around.

I don't know anything about Nissan's but if you have an Infiniti question maybe I can help .

Eh, not really. Aside from the trucks and the Z/G, there's no crossover anymore. Same company, different cars.
