that's the whole point of the turbo blanket, it absorbs the heat so the components around the turbo won't be heated LOL . you can literally rest your hand on the turbo blanket after a long run, just to tell you how the heat are kept under it.

I found it last night in the mail box (community mail box stand). I hadn't checked the mail all weekend and realized from the tracking # that it wasn't UPS or FedEx.Slapped it on there real quick to test the fitment and it sits on there nice and snug!

I don't know if this blanket is good for my ceramic coating on my piping and turbo housing. Boostfab - do you have any input on that?The reason I ask this is because the blanket does its job so well that I can literally drive for 15 minutes, pop the hood, and hold my hand to the blanket without being burned. Actually warmed my hands up this brisk fall morning. I'm just paranoid about it keeping TOO MUCH heat in and damaging the coating somehow.

the blanket shouldn't affect the ceramic coating. the ceramic coating help kept the temp down, so the turbo blanket see less heat than typically.

Some pics of mine. Fits snug. Held my hand to it after 15 minutes of driving and it was hot but not burning hot. It uses magic to keep the heat in so well.
