It might be your fuel pump or your fuel line(s) and not your plugs.

And if you're running rich wouldn't you smell oil not gas?

if you have a loose hose generally a hose clamp will work, but it may be a good time to replace some hoses if they are failing.

ok cool, how hard is to drop the tank? im going to go get some wheel ramps to lift the back up. then looks like a strap is holding the tank on. is that it? im already one E so it shouldnt be to heavy.

You dont need to. Take out your spare tire and the theres an access area you may have to drop the one side but you can get to the top of the tank, pump, and hoses through the trunk.

okay so i just checked everything. one of the lines was messed up by the little clamp thing. when i got under the car one of the fuel lines had some cracks in it (when i squeezed it u could see them) im guessing from being old. then there is one big line with somthing protecting it. i was thinking replacing the 2 small diameter lines because you can disconnect them by a metal adapter thing right on the side of the tank so it would only be about a foot and a half of line. also one of the fuel pump screws was missing. i tried to tighten the rest and they feel kinda stripped. do these tighten down a lot? and i was thinking of putting some type of sealent around the top of the fuel pump. would that help maybe?

why would you smell oil from running rich? running rich is running too much GAS, where would oil come into the equation? your oil might smell like gas, if thats what your trying to say

I had the same problem. Just take off fuel line where its leaking and replace it. Done. It cost me like 8 dollars for some new fuel line and clamps at napa. Took me like an hour and it was fixed. Seriously just take out the old lines where its leaking and dont smoke while your doing it.
