I guess the second time is a charm  It was still a tough install, take your time and make sure you have someone help you with a heat gun, stretch out the vinyl and be patience.
Start from the middle and buy an exacto-knife to cut the excess vinyl when finished. Besides that I love the look, the best 16$ ever spent

Are the GTR style overlays with the brake and reverse cutouts legal no matter where you are because the break light is exposed?

None of the light output is affected, I cant see why it wouldnt be legal... Nassau county cops dont bust balls about these though.

what would be the best way to install these? i have the complete coverage overlays. i ordered two sets and attempted this once and failed horribly.anyone have any pointers/tips in how to install these?

HEY! JUST GOT MY COUPE AND AM INTERESTED IN THE ONES THAT HAVE THE REVERSE LIGHT EXPOSED 60%. I WAS GONNA HAVE THEM PAINTED, BUT SAW THESE. ARE THEY EASY TO INSTALL AND WHAT WOULD I NEED TO INSTALL? THANKS!

Nah, I had them for a little. You could see it just fine. Now i have full coverage and it's still fine. Double layer I'm not sure about.

double layer is fine! just got mine done last week!!!
