Im really interested in getting these seats, but was wondering if they are a direct bolt in for an s13 hatch?

UHm I beg to differ sir.

3 bolt will line up perfectly. as for the 4th bolt. which will be the back one close to the door. Its a bit short. so you have two choices. use the bolt from the s13 seat and let it over lap the bracket and it will hold. < ( i did, the bracket is like less than a 1/16th away from the bolt )

(Or)

you can drill a hole in the floor. then sandwich it. (bolt, washer, floor board, seat bracket, washer, nut and call it a day. I myself chose to over lap it and it works fine.

..... For them to be bolt up it would require ZERO modification. Having to shim the bracket or bolt the side of the seat is not only the half *** rice way, But isn't bolt up.

haha say what ya want . they are in. they are secure. it's no way as involved as putting S14 belts into a s13. rear bracket is practically touching the bolt as you wrench it down.~skott

they're still not direct bolt in. which is what the op asked but they are badass seats and can be made to fit quite easily. then again. s15 seats are more badass and drop in stock. ZERO mods

lol i wish i had a data link so i could get the pics off my cell. Jus so i could show you all what exactly I am talking about. IMHO modding and a washer that is on my S13 seat bolt is a direct bolt in. lol. who cares if it goes in the hole? its not like we are talking about getting laid here. lmao.

+1 on s15 seats. i likes but i likes my r33's way much better. holds my slightly over skinny @$$ when sliding and still allows my boys to breath w/ out feeling like they are in a sauna. lmao. ~skott

No idea, im sure someone will pop off saying so. But i have been eyeing some on ebay. been thinking about getting those as well. then making PC chairs out of the R33 seats. For the record R33 seats into a rolling office chair base is not a direct bolt in. fabbing and welding is needed.

i would imagine it's about the same since the s13 and s14 seats are interchangeable, the brackets are probably almost, if not exactly, the same.

Oh yea? You should have seen me trying to get S14 seats into an S12. Now THAT was a welding project that needed some skillz y0.

Skott.b, I did the same thing you did on my old S13, so I know it works. However, it is still not a bolt on as the screw is not 100% secured in the position. I highly doubt that the bracket would come loose (and I can live with that).

You still modify the way the seat is held in the place.

If you look close at the feet brackets, they are held onto the seat rail with 2 spot welds. If you drill out the spot welds, the foot bracket will come off. What I did is drill the back left bracket off of both seats and swap them using a couple of bolts. After that, the r32 seats bolted right in like they were meant to be there.

Hellz homie in janky productions if it doesn't involve cutting, welding or massive beatings its a direct bolt it. rotflol. we can deal w/ some janky ****e. thats why we make race cars from junk.

try properly mounted 350z seats in an s13, not hard just time consuming

I'm not familiar with w/e LKT is, so help me out on that one, plz?

The rails in an S12 are almost the same distance apart as S13 and S14 rails are, but a little wider. the front two are the only ones that sort of bolt in if you use longer bolts and drill them out a little. Everything else had to be measured and spot welded on, and then checked for consistency with previous placement.

It took me 4 grueling hours of trial and carpet removal.

lol it has lock tight it holds, even while sliding. so i consider its safe. as well so has others that have looked at it. ppl that inspect cars for events. so if they deem it safe, then it shall be safe. thank you.

while im at it.
