Its not cold in Calgary! jk

Welcome to the forum man. Hey, you should talk to the guys at JDMSource (jdmsource.ca) They are great suppliers. Picked up my engine, front end and LSD from them (and soon much more). They are based out of Calgary as well.

nice ride...

but...

this is more of a "whore out pics of the car" thread than a build thread.

where's the build?

silvia k's - ive got a bunch of parts listed that still arent on the car so thats basically the plan for now, waiting on parts shops around here is the most frustrating. but im thinking gt3071r, q45 maf, greddy dp and elbow, ss lines, brembo slotted rotors, hawk pads, tint the windows, fix up the body, paint the car and fix up the interior, im sure that will keep me busy all summer.

adrians s13 - i know theres a bunch of pics and the thing is ive been building it since i got it in august but i didnt make a thread till now so im organizing pics as best as possible to show wat ive done up until now, and theres still a bunch to come, so hold tight and keep checking in, for now im trying to figure out why my car makes a popping/clunking noise wen i turn my steering wheel all the way... steering knuckle or rack is what ive come down to

i think more aggressive wheels should be on that list definately if u want a weekend fun ride/showish car. hmm good choice on turbo should get some decently quick spoolage. definately should go new intake/exhaust manifold, new injectors, radiator, oil cooler, **** like that. it would get rid alot of the unnesecary wire and hose mess u got goin on there. power fc would be icing on the cake:D

ok ok so ive got my odyssey battery ordered and it will be here on monday, so that means that the front mount can be installed anytime next week, once it stops raining of course. two things came up after the nissan cruise, 1 - i need hood pins for my cf hood, not that it really worried me i just wanna be safe i saw two 240's with smashed up cf hoods from prior "accidents". the other thing is my buddy pat managed to blow apart his MR tubular manifold, and i leant him mine so we could get his car working asap, which we got done in a matter of a couple hours thanks to autodream and them lending their shop and tools to us. so now im need of a new manifold... and i kinda dont wanna go megan racing LOL any ideas?

CF (65% Fiberglass) hoods save you 20LB up the front for $500 shipped.

Why don't you get a light weight seat replacement for that amount of money or just get a lighter stainless steel exhaust manifold and a battery relocation to do the same amount of weight reduction up the front?

Replacing your front bumper core with aluminum one from Audi, G35, 350Z also works too, for much less money.

so basically yesterday wasnt a good day at all for me, tried fitting the filter on, the adapter for the maf is for a z32, but i just had to redrill some holes and mod my filter a bit, and wait for some silicone to dry and ill throw it on today... didnt get aroud to the boost leak.. it started hailing so bad with crazy rain later on in the night and wen i went to drive my gf home there was a huuuuuge puddle that i didnt see drove right through it so now im kinda paranoid i sucked water in

ooo ur damn rights!!!

lets see wat did i get done... dash crack is pretty tough to fix so i filled it and painted it and im gonna either cover it with like a plaque type cover, like the lo rider crowd puts in their cars, or put some gauges in there...

rolled my fenders, it wasnt super hard, and turned out decent.

got my wheels on finally 17x8 and 18x9.5 with 205 40 17s and 235 4018's

pics:

the nasty crack... ahhhhthats all for now folks
