Well it has been a very long process but finally... i am officially ka-t. It started last year when i started piecing together parts. Here is another thread where i listed my parts and was in need of help but ill list everything again.

I absolutely love it so far. I do not have the mbc installed so i am just running what the wastegate is set at. Im usually around 6 or 7 psi at full boost. Not any major problems right now, so far i have just had a coolant leak which i fixed and when installing the turbo the oil line running to it was to big so i had to get a restrictor but that is fine now. Skyline factory turbo timer --One thing a cant figure out and would really like to is being able to use my keyless entry while the turbo timer is running. The turbo timer is some how blocking the keyless entry/alarm until it(turbo timer) cuts off.--Here is what i got now:zerothread?id=325311I have got thered - powergreen - 12 volt ONyellow - 12 volt ACCblack- ground

Well, thanks in advance for any help. Hope you like it and your input and thoughts are very welcome. I will get some pictures of the outside tomorrow when i get a chance to wash and wax it.

Here is pics: custom made brake master cyl. heat shieldoil cooler and front mount filling in all the spaces nicely

transmission not so hot, but besides that.... pretty clean. i would tuck those wires from your pillar gauges though because that just looks hideous.

Nice setup. That oil cooler is a transmission cooler right?

Hey, what is your throttle plate bypass hooked up to?

Also, your MAF is really close to your turbo. You might be alright for now, but if you turn the boost up your most likely going to have problems.

yea i will be at the import alliance meet and also i am planning on going to HIN nashville the night of the 26th.

yes that is a transmission cooler.

i am planning on hiding the wires better when i swap in the new dash. that one has a crack in it and my friend has got one he is going to trade me. so i figured i would wait till then to hide the wires better.
480sx wrote:Hey, what is your throttle plate bypass hooked up to?
it is hooked up to the pipe between the turbo and MAF

Looks like the corrugated rubber intake tube aft of the air filter. Little extra rubber hose never hurt anything...LMAO

As far as the turbo timer...I had 2 Skylines...neither came with a factory turbo timer. What model was it from?

Yeah they were both GTS-t R32's...nothing super special. But they were hella fun and no engine is easier to work on then the RB20.

Yes i am tuning off of just the SAFC and yes i have a stock MAF. I would really like to get my ecu tuned by jim wolf eventually though, but i may wait till i get the 370cc's in there and even upgrade turbos, but for now, it is running very well. today i am actually take out the coolant hoses that run to the turbo and replacing them with some stainless steel braided hoses. one of my rubber ones were to close to the manifold and it cracked. while i am at it i am going to wrap the manifold in some high heat wrap.

the intercooler and piping actually came all together off of ebay. with a little bit of time and effort i fit very well. are you gonna be at the importalliance meet in july?

Why'd you decide not to use the S13 SMIC/Pipes? Did it fit ok?

I'm thinking about using sr smic with my t25 setup.

That sounds about right, do you ever build boost at a standstill with that auto transmission?

So you're running 6 psi with a stock exhaust...........yeah you should probably see a decent gain with an aftermarket.

Oh, You have any of the sr smic parts left? I need some couplers and the 1st hotpipe.

No, all i have still got is the smic itself, but none of the pipes or couplers.

Well, the exhaust may have to wait a bit, because i am now going to have to help out my girlfriend with a new transmission. she has a 1990 300zx and the transmission went out about 3 days ago. its an auto, and if anyone has one or knows someone who has on for sale please let me know!thanks
