Hi - I am trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a 09 Murano SL AWD with a MSRP of $39.5k now or wait. I've negotiated a price of $33.5k which I believe is a good deal (dealer is trying to meet end of year target), but don't really need the car until end of summer (I am coming off of an 06 Murano lease at that point). I believe the 2010's will come out in the end of summer time frames and am wondering if the group thinks a better deal will be available at that point. My current thinking is that it will be a cash deal. Looking forward to your thoughts. Thanks

You mentioned in your first thread that you purchased a 09 Murano LE:... 2009 Murano LE - Nav w/Music Box - Dual Panel Moonroof - Splash Guards - Floor Mats MSRP: $39,920 My Price: $35,400 ... PLEASE let me know where/who you spoke to. I'm in Cincinnati and am going to the dealership tonight with my husband - they said they can't go any lower than $37,310 - obviously they can, so please help!!!!! Also, they drove to go get the car in the color we wanted, but does that matter if I change my mind? CS

First off, welcome to NICOclub! Glad to have you as a member of the Murano Forum! I ended up purchasing from Rosen Nissan in Gurnee Illinois. Woodfield Nissan in Schaumburg quoted got down to $35,500, Rosen beat it by $100, I then sent an e-mail back to Woodfield, but they stopped responding, so I purchased from Rosen. Brad was the internet guy I bought from. They did have the exact vehicle I purchased in their hands, that makes a difference. Good luck, keep us posted as to how things turn out!

I finally purchased my 09 Murano SL silver with premium pkg.I think the price was somewhere around 26660, and the final drive out price was 28800. What do you guys think? was that a good deal? I really liked it because it only had 10 miles on the car when i bought it~

Have 3 choices for the Murano right now..1- Murano SL With every package except Navigation.. Lease price = $435/month inckuding tax (only problem with this package is its practically impossible to find the SL Loaded With Black on Black. I can only find them with the tan interior and im a very outdoor person and it would look filthy inside in a month. 2- Murano LE With everything except Navigation.. Lease price = $498/month (I can find the LE in any color I want) 3- Murano LE with Everything (40k msrp).. Lease price = $518/month All the lease prices above are including tax based on 39 months with 1k miles per month and no money down except bank fee, plates, and first month payment. If i go with any of the the LE's I would probably also get the Tire/Wheel insurance for $700 (fully covers me on tires and wheels) Supposedly they bring and put on your fresh tire the next day. I live in nyc where busting a tire in a pothole (expecially low profiles) will happen 3-4 times a year on avg. Probably gonna go through 8-12 tires through a 39 month lease. So i think the $700 would be justified, and I also like that it covers the rims.
Any suggestions?

Unless you are seeing tax advantages (ie your Mo will be used for business purposes) by renting, my suggestion is to save up to make a down payment and just buy your car. Even if you can't save the full price and have to finance, rates are very low these days. But the big advantage is that you have something to show for your hard earned $$ after you receive the title a few years down the road. JM (and most financial advisors) HO, of course.

Just bought an '09 Murano today. Not a bad deal, but I didn't push too hard!LE with nav/moonroof, as well as splash guards and floor mats. $500 under invoice with the 2.9%. I'm a tech guy, and the nav/iPod combo was too good to pass up. The quality is as good as the Audi MMI, IMHO. Glad to be back in a Nissan!

Just bought a used '09 Murano S with 14,700 miles for 22,900. AWD. I don't think it has anything that's not standard issue on the base model.I still like it, even without the leather and the moonroof.

Hi Everyone!I just leased a 2009 Nissan Murano SL (AWD). Black with Beige Leather Interior: - Premium Package - Technology Package - Navigation Package - Leather Package - Dual Moonroof - Sticker: $38,565 - Negotiated price: ? - Lease Price: $489.00 per month - Down Pymt: $3,000 - 39 Months, 12,000 miles per year Well, I thought I got a great deal, until a read some of the posts above. My brother had leased 2 Muranos since 2004. His 2007 lease for 39 mos. has a monthly payment of $489.00. So when I went in to the dealership, they gave me the impression they were giving me a steal by giving me the same monthly payment my brother is paying on his 2007 SL. Also, I want to make note that the $489 mo. payment was for "No Navigation." This price was quoted on everything listed above, minus the Navigation. When they told me my car came in they said, they only could locate one with Navigation, but at no extra charge to me. But, I am still thinking I may have paid to much. Oh well, I still love my car and just figuring out the whole Ipod connection issue. I think I will go for a drive now! LOL!

I picked up my LE in April of 08... All options except the lighted sills and headrest DVD. It was a buy rather than a lease. I financed $32K and had a $4K trade-in. All in all my payment is $550 with a 6.9% finance (best they could do at the time) which I am now refinancing to a few points lower to get my payments to just under $500.Point is that as a buy I can either keep it at the end of the term or sell it at anytime that it makes sense to me. Does your payment include tax? I've leased a number of vehicles at a $0 down with decent monthly payments, but just like rent vs. a mortgage, at the end of the day you have only receipts to show... Just my $.02... I do love the car though

Afternoon all, My existing 2006 Murano lease expires Sept 2009. I got a nice deal on the last one with nothing down, my payments are only $415 a month. I started talking to a few dealers this weekend, but so far the offers on a comparible model (fwd,SL, leather, tech) have been ok if I want to buy (approx 32k), but way off if I want to lease. The monthly $ is around $500 (12k, 39 mths). So, I'm wondering if I should continue my pursuit for happiness (a $450 lease), or stick with what I got for a few more months and see what happens when the 2010 models are announced? Without looking in a crystal ball though I have no idea if the co$t will be any different (msrp). Thoughts?

Hi, I'm in Westport as well. Where did you buy? How much did you pay in a 2-car deal? My brother and I are thinking of a 2-car deal as well. Got a price of $49,500 for 2 LEs with everything except DVD system. This INCLUDES 2 trades of 2 Infinity QX4s with about 50,000 miles each on them. Dealer (Miller in Fairfield) gave us $7000 each for the QX4s. So I guess when you add back the trades, we are getting the 2 cars for $63,500 ($49,500 + $14,000). Is this a good deal?

Hey all,Thanks for the tips I've read on here. After weeks of emails back and forth across the state of Texas, and quite a bit beyond, we have what I consider a deal that can't be beat. 2009 LE dual moonroof and nav, MSRP $41,300, Invoice $37,900, Offer $32,600+TTL. We nearly bought on the last day of last month to get the financing but the purchase prices were just right at invoice at that point, so we held out hoping the financing would roll over. If it's what they say it is, we'll be picking her up next week.

Wow that seems like an incredible deal! A few buyers get a good deal at 2-3k below invoice. You have an offer for over 5000 below invoice which is incredible. I would jump on it. A dealer in queens ny wouldnt even consider less than 1500 under msrp never mind this incredible offer! If and when you pick it up be sure to post where you bought it from and good luck!

It seems that with the way the economy and auto sales are lately, no deal is too crazy! It does take some negotiating though!
