I installed Nagisa Shakitto plates a couple of days ago, and here's the write up. Before I bought them, I was thinking about getting this strut tower bar, but I decided to keep my Cusco strut bar and add Shakitto plates. I saw several positive reviews on Nagisa Shakitto plates though. With below strut bar, I have to throw away my Cusco bar.

I googled and was able to find one installation write up from nissanpacific.com. It was very helpful, but he took the hood off and trim the cowl cover which were unnecessary. I hope my write up will clear that up. Sorry for posting external link to other forum.http://nissanpacific.com/forum...agisa

You don't have to remove hood. Started removing front windshield lower trim, cowl covers and a rubber molding. Just stick a flat head screw driver here and there and you can pop the clips out.

Clip looks like this. Cowl covers and these clips are strong and flexible, so I didn't break any.

Looks like this once removed.

I just grabbed a rag and cleaned the area real good.

Driver side is fairly easy, but passenger side loosk like this. These Extended Nuts come with the plates, so you have to stick them in to tighten the bolts.

Clip holes are too small for the bolts, so I used Dremel to make them bigger. Angled Dremel extension helped a lot. Holes need to be just a couple of millimeters bigger.

I put a magnet right next to the holes, and it collected all the debris.

Driver's side installed.

Here's some close up shots. It's pretty thick, and I couldn't bend it at all.

Washer fluid line was on the way on passenger side like this.

I simply disconnected the line from here and rerouted it.

I secured extended nuts with a ziptie, so it won't rattle.

Left and right cowl covers fit perfect without any trimming, so you don't have to worry about it.

Clips in last two holes on both sides needed to be removed, so I used double sided tape to secure the rubber molding.

Here's the hard part. I found out that these 2 areas on each side touch the plates, so back of the hood popped up a little bit(1-2mm). I located the areas and banged with hammer.

That's about it. I didn't get a chance to test drive it yet. I'll do it tomorrow.

so what kind of difference did u feel?

There should be a thread where someone compares various differences between these braces in quality, price, feel, results, etc...

Sorry for the late feedback. I took it for a ride and made some hard turns. Here's the deal. I think my car is already stiff, so I couldn't feel the big difference or maybe I'll have to take it to a track or something. Dang!!! Biggest difference I felt was right after Nismo power brace, Kazama tension rods and sub frame bushings.

now to me it don't seem like they would do to much but they sure do make the engine bay look cleaner and you could probably hide something under them if you wanted to.

Who cares about the damn plates, your engine bay is amazingly clean. Nice work keeping it so damn crispy.
